Apex Holds Second Open House for Lighthouse Wind

From 3-7 pm on Tuesday, December 9th, Apex held an open house event at the Yates Town Hall to foster public knowledge and awareness of the  Lighthouse Wind project, which is proposed to cover areas of both Niagara and Orleans Counties.  This is the second such event, with the first taking place at the Barker Fire House in Somerset in October.

Four members of the Apex team were present, along with informational boards and handouts, prepared to discuss the proposed projects details and merits with local community members, project area landowners, and local officials. The event was well attended, with over 70 individuals stopping by over the four hour duration to discuss the proposed project with the Apex team and other community members.

Apex plans to schedule future events of this nature as the project progresses which will focus in more detail on issues such as turbine siting, wind resource and environmental impact.  Do not hesitate to reach out to Dan or Taylor through this website with questions or comments.
